قام مجلس إدارة النادي الأهلي، برئاسة محمود الخطيب باستعرض الترتيبات الخاصة بسفر بعثة الفريق الأول لكرة القدم إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية للمشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2025، وذلك في اجتماعه اليوم الثلاثاء.
ويستعد النادي الأهلي للمشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية بنظامها الجديد بمشاركة 32 ناديًا، التي ستنطلق في منتصف شهر يونيو المقبل.
ويتواجد الأهلي في المجموعة الأولى لـ كأس العالم للأندية 2025، بجانب إنتر ميامي وبورتو البرتغالي وبالميراس البرازيلي.
ويفتتح الأهلي مواجهاته ببطولة كأس العالم للأندية، أمام فريق إنتر ميامي الأمريكي بقيادة ليونيل ميسي، يوم 15 يونيو، وهي مباراة الافتتاح للمونديال العالمي.

كما استعرض مجلس الإدارة، معسكر الإعداد المقرر إقامته في أمريكا أيضًا بالتنسيق بين شركة الأهلي لكرة القدم مع الشركة المتحدة للتسويق الرياضي الحاصلة على الحقوق الخاصة بالمعسكر.
ويترأس الكابتن محمود الخطيب، بعثة الفريق المتجهة إلى أمريكا يوم 4 يونيو المقبل للمشاركة في مونديال الأندية.

2021 was a huge summer of upheaval at Celtic; they’d just had their hopes of ten successive titles shattered by Rangers, while ten senior first-team players left the club, including Scott Brown, Odsonne Édouard, Kristoffer Ajer and Ryan Christie who, between them, made 1,121 appearances in hoops, with Brown contributing more than half of that total.

In came Ange Postecoglou as manager and, with no director of football in place, the Australian was tasked with leading the recruitment too, so 14 players arrived during that first summer, followed by five more in January.
Some were major successes, including Matt O’Riley, Josip Juranović, Carl Starfelt, Liel Abada and the aforementioned Kyōgo, who were all sold for big fees, while Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and returning hero Jota remain key figures in the current team.
Some of Postecoglou’s signings made their mark in a very truncated period of time in Glasgow, and that is certainly the case for one centre-forward who would be a real asset in the present, had he stayed with the Scottish champions.
The Celtic striker that got away
As part of Postecoglou’s first wave of signings, Giorgos Giakoumakis arrived from VVV-Venlo for a reported fee of £2.5m, having won the Eredivisie golden boot, despite the fact his team were relegated from the Dutch top-flight, a rare combination.
Well, he would make it back-to-back golden boots, sharing the Premiership’s top-scorer award during his only full season at Celtic, scoring 26 times in 57 appearances overall, averaging a goal every 92 minutes.
The Greek striker then left for Atlanta United in February 2023, for a reported £4.3m fee, but didn’t stay in Major League Soccer very long either, moving to current club Cruz Azul for around £8m a year later.

Despite bouncing around, Giakoumakis earns high praise everywhere he goes; John McGinley described him as “a brilliant competitor”, Craig Swan of the Daily Record labelled him an “outstanding finisher”, while Jaime Uribarri of MLS’ official site poetically anointed him the “Greek God of goals”.

As the table above outlines, Giakoumakis’ goals-per-90 ratio during his time at Celtic was frankly off the scale, although Idah’s isn’t too bad either, having netted in back-to-back Premiership games, also bagging a brace at Villa Park in the Champions League last month.
Speaking on Premier Sports’ Scottish Football Social Club, former Rangers defender Alan Hutton believes Idah has taken confidence from the fact he’s now the number one striker, as a result of Kyōgo’s departure, while former Hearts and Hibs midfielder Michael Stewart adds that Idah has “got all the components to be a top striker”.
Nevertheless, Giakoumakis is a proven goalscorer, doing so at a higher level than the Scottish Premiership right now; Global Football rankings believe Liga MX to be the 14th strongest league in the world, MLS actually comes in at ninth, while Scotland’s top-division is all the way down at 43rd.
So, the Hoops would certainly be in a better position if they still had the Greek centre-forward at their disposal, even if they did make a decent profit from his departure.

With the next ODI World Cup scheduled to be held in India in late 2023, the ICC will be looking for a tax exemption from the government of India for the event, which the BCCI has to procure. وحقق الأهلي لقب الدوري رقم 45 في تاريخه، محافظًا على كونه الأقوى هجومًا ودفاعًا خلال مشوار التتويج، بعدما حقق الفوز في 17 مباراة، وهو أكثر الأندية تحقيقًا للفوز ومعه بيراميدز بنفس الرصيد.
وقال سيد عبد الحفيظ في تصريحات عبر قناة “إم بي سي مصر”: “رغم فارق النقاط مع بيراميدز أنا دائمًا أقول هي مسألة أرقام وحسابات ولو تكررت حتى لو بالقدر، لكنها ستعطي تحليلًا ما، مثلًا الأهلي حتى 2005 بشخصيته وجبروته لم يأخذ بطولة إفريقيا وفي نفس السنة يحصل على الدوري، سنة 1982 الأهلي حصل على دوري الأبطال ولم يحصل على الدوري، عام 1986 نفس الكلام، وفي 2001 نفس الأمر، لأنه في بطولتين كبيرتين لكي تتوج بهما تحتاج لاعبين معينين، لذلك في 2005 الأهلي ضم لاعبين كثيرين مثل أبو تريكة وبركات وفلافيو وجيلبرتو وغيرهم”.

وتابع: “بيراميدز قدم مستوى كبيرًا لكنه لم يستطع أن يفصل بين البطولتين، بعد مباراة الجيش الملكي لم يستطع أن يفصل بين دوري الأبطال والدوري المحلي، والزمالك حصل على 5 دوري أبطال لا يوجد سوى مرة واحدة استطاع تحقيق الدوري مع دوري الأبطال، سنة 2002”.
واكد: “أنا مؤمن أن هناك صفاتًا بها عدوى، مثلاً الشجاعة عدوى، والجبن عدوى، لو هناك حالة خمول وكسل ممكن تسبب عدوى، وهذا الأمر في غرفة تغيير الملابس، لذلك وجود 2 أو 3 لاعبين كبار من أصحاب الخبرات في أي نادي ذلك يكون مفيدًا جدًا للإدارة، غرفة تغيير الملابس ليس لها علاقة بالمسؤول”.
وبسؤاله هل بطولة الدوري المصري أنقذت موسم الأهلي؟ أجاب: “صراحة تسببت في حالة بهجة لأن الدوري كان بعيداً، والمهم أن تُصلح وأنت منتصر”.
وبسؤاله.. دوري 2019 سُمي دوري سيد عبد الحفيظ، فهل دوري 2025 ممكن نطلق عليه اسمًا معينًا؟ أجاب: “هناك الكثير من الأسماء ولكن الخاتمة عند المسؤولين من لجنة التخطيط والجهاز الفني، أنا كنادي أهلي كنت أعلم أين المؤامرة وكنت أواجه ذلك، لكن لن أعيش جو المؤامرة، كما أنه كان يُقال أن الدوري موجه لـ بيراميدز، وأنا ليس مع ذلك تماماً، ثانيًا دخول الجهاز الفني الجديد ودور محمد يوسف ومحمد شوقي، ثالثًا ياسر إبراهيم له دور كبير في 3 مباريات بتروجيت وسيراميكا والبنك الأهلي، رابعًا شخصية الأهلي والجماهير”.

Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup*, hours after Pakistan admitted they took a risk bringing him to the tournament. He had come to Australia carrying a knee injury, which he aggravated during their match against Netherlands on Sunday. This means Pakistan will be without him for their must-win encounter against South Africa tomorrow, as well as their final group game against Bangladesh later this week.This injury was the reason Fakhar was originally not part of the 15-man squad for the tournament. He eventually came in as a late addition when he replaced legspinner Usman Qadir. “Obviously with any knee injury it takes time to have 100% recovery,” Pakistan team doctor Najeebullah Soomro, said. “Fakhar and the team understood the risks of coming into the tournament and we got him in. You saw how he performed with batting in the last match, unfortunately in the last match he had a bit of a twist which aggravated his injury.”We were aware of the risks of the comeback. He is obviously an important player for the team. The player, the medical staff and the team management were aware of that. We decided to bring him back in. In cricket, and any sport, we take risks. That would have been devastating news for Everton, but in their first game without the attacker, they managed to pick up three points away at Crystal Palace.
Away from injury news, it’s been reported that Moyes could be looking to bring Tom Fellows to Everton in the summer, as he wants to add a talented youngster to his side in the off-season. Fellows is reportedly keen on the move to Everton, though West Brom are reportedly after £20m for their academy product.
Moyes pushing Everton to sign £30m ace
Fellows is not the only player on Moyes’ radar, as according to reporter Alan Nixon (as relayed by Football League World), Everton are interested in signing Maxime Esteve from Burnley as a replacement for Branthwaite should he depart.
Nixon stated that Everton’s interest in the Burnley defender comes as the Toffees prepare for the potential departure of Branthwaite, who could leave for around £60m in the summer.
Moyes has identified Esteve as an adequate replacement, which could come as a source of frustration for Burnley, as he’s been key to them being one of the standout sides in the Championship.
The 22-year-old joined the Clarets on loan in February last year before joining on a permanent basis in the summer. The centre-back, who could cost Everton as much as £30m in the summer, has started all 33 Championship games to date.
The Toffees’ chances of signing the defender could be increased if Burnley fail to seal promotion to the Premier League.

Esteve, who has been labelled a “quality” centre-back by talent scout Jacek Kulig, is a left-footer like Branthwaite and is the same age as the Everton defender, making him an ideal like-for-like replacement.
However, as Everton had to with Branthwaite, they may have to be patient with Esteve, as he’s only got 16 appearances to his name in the top flight, and it will be a different environment going from Burnley in the Championship to Everton in England’s biggest league.

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي الزمالك مع بيراميدز، مساء الخميس المقبل يوم 5 يونيو، في تمام الساعة الثامنة والنصف مساءُ في المباراة النهائية لبطولة كأس مصر.
وقال سيد عبد الحفيظ في تصريحات عبر قناة “إم بي سي مصر” عن نهائي كأس مصر واعتراض الزمالك على الحكام: “لو الأهلي هو من كان اعترض على الحكام، كانوا سيقولون شاهدوا كيف يضغط الأهلي؟، أنت تعترض على 4 حكام قبل المباراة بـ4 أيام، فماذا تريد أن يقوم التحكيم في المباراة؟، الزمالك من حقه الآن الاعترض على حكام معينين، لكن الأهلي لم يكن لديه حق في طلب حكام أجانب في مباراة 11 مارس!”.

وتابع: “كنت أعترض على حكم ارتكب خطأ أثناء المباراة، لكن الأهلي لم يطلب حكامًا بأعينهم أو طلب عدم تعيين حكم معين لإدارة مباراة”.
وبسؤاله هل الأفضل حكام أجانب؟ أجاب: “بحكام مصريين أو أجانب الفريقان موافقين على ذلك ولن تحدث مشكلة، لو كان الأهلي هو من طلب حكامًا أجانب في نهائي الكأس أمام بيراميدز، كان بعدها بنصف ساعة بيراميدز سيصدر بيانًا ويعترض، لكن الزمالك أصدر بيانًا وحتى الآن بيراميدز لم يعلق”.
وأفاد: “بيراميدز قدم موسمًا جيدًا، لكن هو لا يُفكر إلا في الأهلي وصفقات الأهلي وغيره، لكن لا يشغل باله بـ الزمالك”.
عن احتفال بيراميدز ببطولة الدوري أتم: “مشهد لم أراه في العالم من قبل، ولا أعلم ماذا كانوا يقصدون؟، هم معترضون في المحكمة الدولية وهذا حقهم، لكن ما حدث كان كوميديًا”.
