A transação em questão ocorrerá com caráter de empréstimo e terá vínculo somente até o fim de 2023. Fazendo, assim, com que o clube de Sangolquí tenha um velho conhecido para as disputas tanto do Campeonato Equatoriano como, principalmente, da Libertadores onde enfrenta o Deportivo Pereira nas oitavas de final. Com o Bahia, o acordo do lateral-esquerdo vai até 2027.

ليفربول واصل نزيف النقاط خلال الفترة الأخيرة وتعرض لهزيمة رابعة على التوالي أمام نظيره برينتفورد 3-2 أمس السبت، ضمن الجولة التاسعة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
ودخل روبرتسون في شوط اللقاء الثاني بدلًا من ميلوس كيركيز، لكن الدولي الاسكتلندي لم يستطع تقديم مستوى جيد وإنقاذ ليفربول من الخسارة.
ويرى روبرتسون في تصريحات لموقع ليفربول الرسمي، أن السبيل الوحيد لخروج لاعبي الريدز من الأزمة الحالية هو بذل جهد أكبر.
وقال روبرتسون: “علينا أن نبذل جهدًا أكبر والأمر بهذه البساطة، في التدريبات والمباريات علينا جميعًا أن نتعافى بشكل أفضل”.
وأضاف: “عندما تكون في هذا النادي يطالب الناس بالنتائج، يسافر المشجعون من مكان إلى آخر وأضمن أن الكثير منهم في مدرجات الفريق الضيف كانوا في فرانكفورت أيضًا، إنهم ينفقون أموالًا طائلة لدعمنا”.
وأوضح: ”في الأوقات الصعبة، الطريقة الوحيدة للخروج منها هي بذل جهد أكبر والركض أكثر والعناية بأنفسنا بشكل أفضل، هذا ما يجب علينا فعله، لأن النتائج لم تكن كافية على الإطلاق خلال آخر خمس أو ست مباريات ونحن الوحيدون القادرون على تجاوز هذه المحنة”.

وأردف: ”نعلم ذلك وبدءًا من الأربعاء، لا مجال للراحة، لا وقت لإعادة تنظيم الفريق ولدينا مباريات كثيرة، أحيانًا يكون من الجيد أن نستعيد توازننا بهذه السرعة ونتمكن من العودة، لكننا بحاجة إلى أن نبدأ في اللعب بشكل أفضل وأن نظهر ثباتًا أكبر في أدائنا”.
وتابع: “أعتقد أننا لم نلعب بشكل كافي بدون الكرة ضد برينتفورد، في الشوط الأول خلقنا بعض الفرص وحافظنا على الكرة بشكل جيد”.
وقال: ”لا يمكنك أن تأتي إلى برينتفورد خارج أرضك وتتوقع فقط أن تلعب ضدهم بتلك الطريقة، لأنهم دائمًا ما يكونون مستعدين للقتال وسيكونون دائمًا مستعدين لوضع اللاعبين في منطقة الجزاء في الركلات الثابتة وتمرير الكرات من الخلف، والحصول على الكرات الثانية”.
وأضاف: ”أنت تعلم ما ستواجهه هنا فهم دائمًا لديهم انسجام كبير وهم بارعون جدًا في ذلك، شعرت وكأننا كنا على بعد لحظات من إدراك التعادل”.
وأوضح: ”لقد حصلوا على العديد من الكرات الثانية ثم أصبحت الكرة في الخلف، وخط دفاعنا يركض للخلف لإبعاد الكرات وهو أمر صعب للغاية، نحن نعرف مدى جودة فريقهم في الركلات الثابتة وقد عملنا على الرميات الطويلة وكل شيء، بعد خمس دقائق استقبلنا ثلاث رميات تماس طويلة إحداها استقبلناها بشكل صحيح”.
وأردف: “كان أمامنا معركة شاقة ضد برينتفورد منذ ذلك الحين، واصلنا القتال لكن لم نكن قريبين من المستوى المطلوب”.
وتابع روبرتسون في حديثه: “علينا أن نقاتل من أجل السيطرة، لن يقول أحد ببساطة لك انطلق، خذ الكرة وسنحاول الدفاع، لا أحد يفعل ذلك”.
واستكمل: “لديهم دائمًا خطة لعب ضدنا، جميع المدربين في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز موهوبون للغاية وخاصة الفرق التي أتيحت لها أسبوع كامل للتحضير، كان لديهم خطة لعب واضحة وكأن علينا سؤال مدربهم، لكنني أعتقد أنهم لعبوا بشكل مثالي بينما لم نلعب بشكل جيد وهذا يجعل الأمر صعبًا”.
وقال: “كما قلت، إذا ظننا أنهم سيظهرون فجأة في الهجوم ثم يتراجعون فسنسيطر على المباراة وننتظر حتى نسجل، وهذا أمر لا يحدث أبدًا، هذا موسمي التاسع وأعتقد أنه حدث مرة أو مرتين فقط في مباراة”.
وأضاف: “إذا توقعنا ذلك، فسنواجه مشكلة كبيرة، علينا أن نكافح من أجل السيطرة وعلينا أن نقاتل أولًا، علينا أن نقاتل من أجل الكرات الثانية ونقاتل من أجل الكرات الأولى، ونحاول أن نشق طريقنا في المباراة وحينها ستظهر الجودة”.

After Gareth Bale left north London behind, heading to Real Madrid to the tune of £85m, the ‘Magnificent 7’, as they were infamously known, were not much of a success.
Enter Paulinho, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli, Etienne Capoue, Vlad Chiriches and Erik Lamela. While the latter scored that ridiculous Rabona goal, the only real success story here was Eriksen, a creative and technical marvel.
Ten years later, it was Harry Kane’s time to leave Spurs. He moved to Bayern Munich for a fee of around £86m, a relative bargain considering what he’s achieved since.
Arguably, like Bale, money was not well spent the summer he departed. The signings of summer 2023 were rather hit or miss. While Dejan Kulusevski arrived permanently, they spent £45m on an inconsistent Brennan Johnson and £50m on an injury-prone James Maddison.
Meanwhile, in 2024 £65m was spent on Dominic Solanke, who also cannot stay fit, while young gems in the form of Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert also joined. Not quite a magnificent seven, but more of an average trio. Gray and Odobert may well come good, but Solanke’s ceiling has likely already been hit.
So, perhaps Thomas Frank and Co will need to look to the academy again, just as they did when handing Kane his debut back in 2011. Once all was said and done, he’d found the net on 280 occasions, leaving as their all-time record goalscorer and Arsenal’s chief nemesis.
His form in Germany since has been nothing short of scintillating.
Harry Kane's season in numbers
Kane does goals. There’s not a whole lot else to say. Even bringing the likes of Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak into the equation, he is currently the best centre-forward in world football. The numbers support that.
While Viktor Gyokeres won the Gerd Muller Trophy at the recent Ballon d’Or ceremony, proclaimed as the best striker of 2024/25, Kane deserved to be in the conversation.
Gyokeres, for context, scored 54 times last season, but Kane ran him close, netting 41 in 51 outings.
Well, in 2025/26, he looks like he’s on track for the best season of his career as he moves into his 32nd year.
If you thought Kane couldn’t get any more ruthless, then think again. This season he has undeniably been the best player in Europe, scoring a mind-boggling 17 goals in nine games.
He’s scoring at a record of a goal every 46 minutes. It’s a level of potency we’ve very rarely ever seen from a striker in the elite game.
Truth be told, it’s peak Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo levels of goalscoring.
Kane has beaten the goalkeeper ten times in five Bundesliga fixtures while in the Champions League, he’s been a demon too, netting four in two matches, including a brace against Chelsea a couple of weeks ago.
The England skipper continued his rich vein of form against Cypriot side Pafos on Tuesday, bagging another two goals. This time he played as a no.10, behind Nicolas Jackson. It had no impact on his ability to score.
Replacing that type of output was always going to be impossible for Spurs. Solanke is a handy striker but he’s always going to be compared to Kane. That’s harsh but it’s the way of the world.
Fortunately, the Lilywhites do have one exciting academy prospect coming through the ranks who looks more exciting than Kane ever did at youth level.

At youth level Kane was impressive, scoring nine goals in 13 official matches for Tottenham Hotspur’s U21 side. Yet, he initially struggled at senior level.
The club’s record scorer didn’t find the net during five matches on loan at Norwich and also found life difficult at Leicester City and Leyton Orient, notching seven across 33 matches during those spells.

Nine goals in 29 matches at Millwall was slightly more productive but it wasn’t until 2014/15 where he finally showcased his elite potential.
That term the Englishman registered 31 goals for Spurs and since then, there hasn’t been a single campaign where he’s not scored fewer than 20 across a single season.

Many have come through the academy since then hoping to emulate that sort of record. The likes of Dane Scarlett, Troy Parrott and Will Lankshear, while still young, did not show enough in their fleeting appearances.
There are still high hopes for Mikey Moore, too. The 17-year-old was compared to Neymar by James Maddison last season and has so much potential.
Yet, the most exciting talent bursting through the ranks is another 17-year-old, Luca Williams-Barnett.
The teenager may be unknown to many supporters but has already made his first-team debut, appearing for the final three minutes of Spurs’ League Cup win over Doncaster Rovers last week.

A no.10 by trade, who can also play up top, the talented teen was superb last season, scoring 20 goals and registering a further 12 assists in 23 outings.
He’s begun the 2025/26 term in a similar vein of form with six goals and four assists in eight appearances for the U21s.

His hat-trick earlier this season may not have showcased this but it proved he’s usually always in the right place at the right time, influencing play positively.
A goalscorer, a creator, an innate dribbler, Williams-Barnett has all of the tools to thrive at Spurs in the coming years.
However, for Frank, the challenge will be finding him regular minutes now in the Premier League. Their fierce rivals Arsenal, have led the way by giving the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Dowman so many minutes over the last year.
Could Spurs be brewing their own version here? The future certainly looks bright.

Aminul had to take leave from working as an ICC development manager in Melbourne as he was elected as the 17th BCB chief by the rest of the board of directors during a meeting at the headquarters in Dhaka on Friday.Aminul, the former Bangladesh captain who is also Bangladesh’s first Test centurion, takes over from Faruque Ahmed, who was removed from the role after the country’s sports ministry cancelled his directorship late on Thursday evening. Neste ano, Veiga tem 30 participações em 41 jogos, o que dá uma média de 0,73 por partida, índice superior ao de 0,46 registrado em 2021 (31 participações em 67 jogos). Nesse quesito, 2022 também foi melhor, com média de 0,54 por duelo (25 participações em 46 jogos).

In an open conversation surrounding his future, the former Chelsea man made it clear on international duty that his only priority at present is focusing on securing his place in England’s World Cup squad.
He said: “For me, it doesn’t really matter, to be honest. As long as I’m playing well and helping Palace, there’s definitely an opportunity for me to be here as I am today.
“Whether it’s sorted or not, it’s not really the most important thing to be honest. Personally, I don’t know if I can think that far ahead. I like to just take it step by step, and that is just focusing on the games that I have at Palace and any upcoming opportunities I have here.”
Oliver Glasner has also been targeted by Nottingham Forest due to being out of contract next summer. Ultimately, Crystal Palace are a club on the up, and others are keen to prize away their main assets after an excellent start to the Premier League campaign.

According to Football Insider and journalist Wayne Veysey, Crystal Palace want to sign West Ham defender Max Kilman to replace Guehi, and they could now make a January move to try and secure his services.
However, any deal will be a difficult one to do amid Nuno Espírito Santo’s admiration towards the defender, who was a key part of his Wolverhampton Wanderers side when both worked together at Molineux.

The London-born man is under contract at West Ham until 2031 and arrived at the Hammers for £40 million on a contract worth £100,000 per week, hence why it may take a significant push to tempt Kilman into crossing the divide.
Making eight appearances this term across all competitions, the 28-year-old has been ever-present on the left-hand side of their backline, and it now remains to be seen whether he would be open to a change of scenery.
Crystal Palace could well mount a credible challenge for the European places this term and Kilman could be tempted by the prospect of replacing such a key figure, though it will be interesting to see if Guehi is sold in January to make room.
It is also worth noting that quality strikers, like Villa’s Ollie Watkins, have called Kilman a “top player”.

Debutant Gurinder Sandhu starred for Sussex on day three of their Rothesay County Championship clash with Durham, but the match is edging towards a draw after a mix of rain and bad light caused play to end early at Banks Homes Riverside.Durham had a tough morning with Australian Sandhu (5 for 83) taking the role of chief tormentor, picking up a five-wicket haul on debut as Durham lost their final four wickets for 26 runs to leave them on 327, a first-innings deficit of 34.Durham bounced back through Matthew Potts after lunch to put Sussex under pressure at 27 for 3, but James Coles was once again a thorn in the home team’s side as he led a Sussex recovery with another fifty.After several disruptions because of rain and bad light across the afternoon, play finished early with Sussex on 111 for 4 at close, 145 runs ahead.Resuming on 249 for 5, it was Graham Clark and Bas de Leede’s job to get Durham quick runs and whittle down the 112 deficit as soon as possible.Durham’s top run scorer Clark continued his fine form as he reached fifty from 89 balls, but Sussex bowlers Ollie Robinson and Sandhu restricted run-making opportunities with a new ball, which was taken just prior to close on day two.Robinson got the breakthrough for Sussex removing Clark for 51 as the Durham man attempted to pull a short ball, but he got an edge through to John Simpson behind the stumps.George Drissell came to the crease as Jofra Archer began his first spell of the day, but he and de Leede managed to negate a four-over burst successfully.Durham broke the Sussex shackles as de Leede pulled back-to-back Sandhu balls to the boundary, but the Australian bounced back as Drissell pulled a short one straight to Fynn Hudson-Prentice who was running in from the boundary, which left Durham seven down.Things went from bad to worse for Durham as Sandhu got his fourth, removing Ben Raine for 10 as he chipped one straight to Tom Clark at cover. Then Potts didn’t last long as he edged a Robinson delivery behind to Simpson for 2.Sussex then wrapped up the Durham first innings as Sandhu picked up the final wicket, with Sam Conners caught behind for 7.Sussex’s second innings got off to a bad start as Potts struck without a run on the board, with the England man getting Daniel Hughes for a two-ball duck as he chopped on to his off-stump.Durham got the Kookaburra ball talking as Ben Raine got Tom Clark for 10, with the Sussex No. 3 edging behind to Ollie Robinson behind the stumps. Potts then got his second, bowling Tom Haines for 12 to leave Sussex in trouble.First innings centurion Coles and Danial Ibrahim soaked up some pressure as the task for Sussex changed from quick runs to survival.Two rain delays either side of seven deliveries from Conners and de Leede delayed Durham’s hunt for wickets, with an early tea taken.Coles, who batted so well on day one, flicked a Conners delivery off his legs for four and he followed that with a nice shot through the third region off the bowling of de Leede.He then pulled a Conners delivery to the boundary, which continued his excellent match, but there was yet another interruption as the players went off for bad light, which preceded more rain.Coles resumed after a third delay with a crunching straight drive off Drissell, and he passed fifty for the second time in the match, this time from 65 balls.The 21-year-old then lost his wicket as Raine bowled him for 53, but the players were off for bad light soon after and when the rain started again, play ended prematurely, with the game drifting towards a draw.
